How long are the classes?
Classes are 17 class sessions and go for 2 hours.

Who teaches the Defensive Driving School?
Instructors are former or current military, teachers or coaches.
When can students take Driver’s Education?
Students can begin at 15 years of age.

Can I miss a class?
No more than 3 absences are allowed. You can make up class for specific lesson on later date.
Do I need a Driver’s permit?
Yes, a driver’s permit is required before driving with the driver instructor. Students can get their permit no sooner than 10 days before the start date of class.
Steps:
Once registered make sure to get the WDL# to Defensive Driving School to get started. Balance is due 30 days after start of first class. Defensive Driving School will contact the DOL where you can go to the DMV to pick up the permit.
How do scheduled drives work?
Students will have 5 scheduled drives scheduled at least a week apart.
