Lessons are available for general assessment purposes or for specific practice on driving skills such as: parallel parking, freeway driving, backing around the corner, etc. We will provide whatever assistance is required to prepare drivers for DOL testing. All driving packages that have 5 or more lessons include the 4 hour New Driver Workshop (held via zoom on select Tuesdays) which is recommended to be taken before your driving lessons. It’s designed to give new drivers the most common right-of-way rules, defensive techniques, and road test maneuver training. Adult Individual Driving Plan Package - all-inclusive Price: $1848 Promotion Price: $1699 - SAVE $149
If you are an adult who is neurodivergent (ADHD or Autism spectrum) and/or needs some extra help learning to drive due to anxiety or a learning disability, this package has been created for you. The plan includes the following: one-on-one consult (either in person at select offices or on Zoom with our professional Individualized Driving Plan Coordinator to discuss specific needs, concerns, and fears in order to create a plan that will work for you),
4 Hour New Driver Workshop (via Zoom to gain a better understanding of traffic laws, driving techniques, and the DOL State Testing requirements), DOL Knowledge Test (up to 3 attempts), 12 one-hour lessons with concierge scheduling (the Coordinator will assist in matching you with an instructor that you will feel comfortable with and schedule your lessons), extended time to complete this package, and a 30-minute warm-up with DOL Skills Test (allows time to practice maneuvers and ask questions prior to the test). We encourage 2-4 hours of practice between lessons and inviting a family member or friend to ride along during your lessons, if possible, so they can know how to help you during your home practice. Defensive Driving School cannot guarantee you will qualify for a Driver's License upon completion of this package, but you can purchase additional lessons and/or tests until you are prepared.
