Drive with Confidence: A Personalized Teen Driving Program $1379

If you have a teen who is neurodivergent (ADHD or Autism spectrum) and/or needs some extra help learning to drive due to anxiety or a learning disability, this package has been created for you. 

Here’s what you get:

  • Consultation: We’ll meet with you in Kirkland or virtually via Zoom to discuss your student’s needs and concerns. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that sets them up for success in driver’s ed.
  • Expert Instruction: Based on the consultation, we’ll match your student with a nearby driving instructor who is experienced in working with teens with similar needs.
  • Focused Learning: Driving lessons will be conducted one-on-one, eliminating distractions from other students.
  • Extended Support: We know some students need a little extra time. This package offers extended course deadlines (12 months vs. 4 months) and additional time on midterm and final exams.
  • Flexibility: Practice makes perfect! Parents are encouraged to observe all lessons and practice with their teen in between drives.
  • Comprehensive Curriculum: This package includes the online teen driver education course with 5 driving lessons and 5 in-car observations. Plus, we’ll add 3 additional driving lessons for even more practice.
  • Knowledge Test and Skills Assessment: Your student will have a dedicated one-on-one knowledge test with an examiner and a 30-minute warm-up session before their skills test.

During the consultation, we’ll identify your in-car learning goals and find the perfect instructor to help your teen become a confident driver.

Speed up the registration process: pre-apply, the first step to getting your first driver license, instruction permit, or ID card.

TEEN CLASSES ARE HELD ONLINE VIA ZOOM. Drives will be held at a location near you and will be selected during your consult. Available drive locations – Bellevue (148th/near Microsoft), Bellevue (Factoria), Bonney Lake, Everett, Issaquah, Kent 240th, Kirkland/Yarrow Point, Lynnwood 196th, Mercer Island, Monroe, Redmond, Seattle (Maple Leaf/Green Lake), Seattle (U-District), Snohomish, West Seattle, or Woodinville.

  • Provided in our Individual Driving Plan classes: 17 online Zoom sessions, which includes the 30 Hour state curriculum and 4 hours of Driver Awareness Training, 8 hours of driving, and 5 hours observing other students.
  • Consult either in Kirkland or on Zoom where we’ll identify your in-car learning goals and find the perfect instructor to help your teen become a confident driver.
  • A parent information session will be held on Zoom.
  • We strongly encourage a parent or guardian ride along on all the driving lessons so you will know how to practice with your student in between lessons.
  • Minimum course length is 30 days and all classroom and driving requirements must be completed within 12 months. Students are allowed to miss and make up a maximum of 3 classes. Please keep extra-curricular activities and travel plans in mind before registering for a teen course to ensure proper attention can be given toward this course.
  • A driving permit is required before the first lesson. Students can get their permit up to 10 days before the start date of class.
  • Driving lessons are held outside of classroom meeting times and will extend beyond the end of the classroom portion of the course.
  • This Individual Driving Plan package also includes a dedicated one-on-one knowledge test with an examiner and a 30-minute warm-up session before their skills test.
  • Upon completion of the course, an electronic certificate will be reported to the Department of Licensing. This process takes about 1 week.
  • Most of our communication is through email. When registering please provide a regularly checked email address for both student and parent.
